Hi Jason,
Unfortunately, I can’t seem to reproduce the error that you are getting.
I just ran the icarus example simulations with a fresh installation of Python version 2.7.16 (Anaconda2 distribution), which is very close to the version you have, and they seem to work fine.
I would recommend reinstalling Python. The Anaconda distribution is a good option as it creates an isolated copy of Python in your system without affecting existing installations and libraries.
Best of luck,
Onur

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
This seems strange. Please also let me know which version of Python you are using, so I can look into see if there is an issue with running the code with that version of Python. I use Python 3.5.7, and the examples seem to work.
Cheers,
Onur

Hi Onur,
I am running Icarus 0.7.0. The following is the output I get when trying to run single-experiment-line-topology:

I got the same error with the other two examples. I have not touched the source code at all.
Thank you for your quick response and help.

Hi Jason,
I just cloned the latest version of icarus (v0.7.0) and successfully ran both the lce-vs-probcache and single-experiment-line-topology examples to completion without errors.
The offpath-vs-onpath-caching example takes quite long to finish (1500 or so experiments) so I only ran the first 50 experiments or so and there were no errors.
I need a bit more information to be able to help you. Could you please indicate which examples failed to run? Which version of icarus are you running on (you can check the output of icarus --version) ? Could you also provide the full error message, if possible?
Cheers,
Onur
